Zev Taublieb - Malibu U6 to full time professional player!
I met Coach Andrew Pearce when I was 4 years old at the AYSO soccer fields at Bluffs Park in Malibu. I remember looking straight up at the tallest person I had ever seen with a funny sounding voice. Then he showed me for the first time the technique to pass a ball, dribble a ball, and shoot a ball and I was hooked.
He did it with so little effort and would create so much energy behind the ball dictating it’s every move.
Coach Andrew’s genuine personal love of both teaching and the game itself had me mesmerized.
I would attend his every camp and try to replicate each move he performed for us.
Nearly 20 years later I am very proud and honored to say I play professional soccer and get to play everyday for a living.
Coach Andrew Pearce was the one who not only got me started but help me build the fundamentals that has helped me play not just professional here in the United States, but around the world, including England, Brazil, Israel and most recently Sweden.
I am eternally grateful for him sharing his love of the game to not just me but the Malibu community.
